A Flower on Every Road

Ever wondered how Singapore street names came about? Some like Kim Seng Road , Pickering Street and many others, are named after historical figures that have at one time or another set foot on our shores.

If you notice, you will also realize that there are numerous roads with flower names. Interestingly, almost all of these roads are homes to private residences, namely terrace houses. We explore some of these areas for a peek at the place behind the name.
