Flower Crafts

Working with flowers, whether they are fresh, dried or fabricated can be a very tricky issue although the results of one’s effort is almost always worth it.  How does one start with arranging flowers?  There is not one correct answer for all situations, but the most correct answer can be derived from answering one question.  What direction does the designer want to take?

There are basically two (2) directions to choose from.  The designer can either choose to take his/her cue from nature only or to rely on his/her own vision to form a composition.  Flower crafts may include preserving flowers, air-drying lowers, pressing flowers or whatever forms that would allow the permanent use of flowers or its likeness for decorative and any other personal purpose.
